One thing that this property (and all of the other casino hotels in Tunica) could use is a twenty-four hour sit down cafe. Maybe they were from patrons who stayed before rooms were renovated. I don't understand why this property has gotten such negative reviews in the past. The only minor thing we noticed were a few small stains (like some type of grease) on the carpet.

It had new furniture, a new, large flat screen TV, renovated bathroom and the best mattress (we think it was memory foam) that we ever slept on. We had a king, nonsmoking room in Tower one. In addition to a fun, attractive casino, our room was on par with many for which we have paid a LOT more. We are very grateful that we decided to keep the reservation and see the hotel for ourselves. And the food is god awful.After reading many very negative reviews on the Hollywood hotel in Tunica, we nearly changed our reservation to another area property. And if we do I'll bring stuff from home to eat! Good games. Ordered two chicken strip dinners and got back up to the room only to find the chicken stripes were buried! Needles to say we will not be staying here again. She said we could have anything from the grill we wanted up to $25. Even though I didn't get our food until 10:15. So then she sent me to the food/beverage manager at the grill where she proceeded to tell me that she could not give me my money back since the person who took my order left at 10. I've never paid more money for dried cold jerky in my life! I've had mcdonalds burgers that tastes better!!!!! I went down to the front desk to ask to speak with a manager and the front desk lady seemed like I was the problem. Didn't realize the person who took my order didn't have my room number so our food had been sitting there just waiting on me to call and complain so they could get our room number.

Order 2 ribeyes for dinner at 8:45 finally at 10:15 the guy brought our medium rare steaks to us. Ordered room service for lunch and dinner thinking that it had to be better than the buffet.

It felt better outside than it did in bed. After the first night of being in a room with a broke ac, the front desk said she would call maintance and never did. I thought they would have more real life Hollywood props. They are doing reconstruction for the 20th year so it was a hot mess.

First night we stayed we paid $40 to eat at a buffet that by my standard was not good. I'd never been to a casino before so I had high hopes of this casino since the website talked highly of it.
